T’was the Night Before Christmas…

T’was the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except Dum-Dum the dog.  The children were excited, so had to take melatonin, but are now zonked abed, and Holly is sleeping cockeyed on the couch (after waking up at 4:30 am to work out).  The fireplace is on, the presents are under the tree, waiting for LoudBoy and Birdsnest to wake up at 5 am all excited with glee.  Despite instrsuctions not to wake us ’til six, I know we’ll be up earlier without (Christmas) morning sex.  Mrs. AMD has a basket of gifts, separate from the rest, and hope to keep her up this week trying them all out (mostly on vacation).  Santa even wrote a note, telling the kids to stay good, and eating their cookies and drinking their port, he said “Merry Christmas you guys!” with a snort.

With all due respect to the single bloggers out there I respect and admire so much…Roosh, Danny, Nexxt Level dudes, Danger and Play… until you have kids and can see the magic that Christmas eve is to them, you’re truly missing something.  Ours, who both still believe (for another year or two before the oldest is too old), slept in the same room talking so excited about the visit… I LOVE THAT so much!  Christmas will be great, as usual, but it’s the anticipation of innocent kids that is truly magical… oh, and baby Jesus too!  Happy Christmas my brethren!
